Annie and Josh's anniversary session took place at Pullen Park, where we found some of the most fun and unique places to take pictures! If you're not familiar with it, Pullen Park is more than an ordinary park, it has a carousel, train, and pedal boats along with beautiful willow trees and bridges. I've been visiting since I was a little kid, but it's the perfect place for a date if you're looking to do something different with your sweetheart!
It began to rain in the middle of our session and like a good husband, Josh came to the rescue by running out to the car while it was still pouring for two umbrellas. We were all hoping that it wouldn't rain - but I love the beautiful photographs that happened only because it did rain! The light became dreamy and we even got to go on the train all by ourselves, which we would have never been able to do if it was a sunny day.
Fun little fact - Annie is the artist behind my wonderful logo! I know some of you have been curious about who made it for me and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of some great graphic design talent. Check out her work here.
Happy Anniversary Annie and Josh! I hope you enjoy these photos for many years to come!
above: I love this photo! The rain, lamp posts, and empty park, it looks like something out of a movie!
Annie and Josh were only engaged for two months before their December wedding and were never able to get engagement photos made. I love that they still had a session done as a couple, even after they were married!
