Ellen and Wesley’s wedding proves that you don’t have to have a long engagement to have a gorgeous wedding! They truly had the most beautiful winter wedding – the sun was shining and the temperature was amazing for early February! They were engaged for four short months and we loved Ellen’s advice for planning: “Pick what is important to you, make sure that’s what you want, and the other details will fall into place. Good Southern food was important to us, and that is what our guests still bring up to this day!” With the help of an amazing team of vendors and their family and friends they pulled off an incredibly elegant and gorgeous day. Their bride and groom portraits are still some of our all time favorites! When you look through their portraits below you’ll see why!
Their focus more than having a pretty wedding day was to prepare well for their marriage and to make sure God was at the center of it. We love that because we completely agree in striving for a more beautiful marriage than your wedding day!
We love following along with our couples long after their wedding day, after the honeymoon is over and when they’re in their day to day married life. Now Ellen and Wesley have the cutest puppy and just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary last week!
